About AI Paralegal
AI Paralegal is part of CORTO, a cutting-edge software company dedicated to revolutionising the legal industry. Our mission is to empower legal practitioners with AI-driven solutions that streamline their workflow, boost productivity, and provide more efficient client service.
AI is transforming the legal industry and CORTO is at the forefront of this change. There is a huge opportunity for law firms to save time, money and to add more value to their client base. This is where AI Paralegal comes in. AI Paralegal is a startup transforming the way legal work is done to unlock new value for law firms and their clients. We will be utilising our in-house expertise and the power of AI to save hours of work and transform the way law firms provide access to legal justice.
Built on Adieu’s advanced AI technology, AI Paralegal functions as a digital paralegal drafting documents, managing workflows, and handling repetitive legal tasks with speed and precision. By integrating seamlessly with LEAP’s ecosystem, it empowers firms to increase efficiency, scale capacity, and drive measurable profitability from every matter.
What you’ll do
AI Paralegal runs on a revenue-share model – we only succeed when the firms using it do. That means engagement isn't a nice-to-have, it's the whole business. The AI Engagement Manager owns that relationship: getting firms onboarded, keeping them active, diagnosing why usage drops and fixing it fast, and feeding real-world insight back into the product.
To make this happen you will:
- Own a portfolio of onboarded firms – track AI Paralegal usage, throughput metrics, and engagement levels, and act immediately when the numbers drop.
- Run onboarding workshops with new firms – hands-on, in-person sessions (around 2 per month) travelling to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and beyond to get firms set up and generating revenue.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior law firm leaders – help them rethink pricing, staffing models, and workflow design to get more from AI Paralegal.
- Diagnose and document engagement barriers – when a firm isn’t using the product, work out why, write it up clearly, and partner with the dev team to fix it fast.
- Raise and follow up Jira tickets for product issues affecting firm performance, staying on them until firms are unblocked.
- Work with the wider AI Paralegal team to build and evolve the engagement playbook – defining success criteria at each stage of the onboarding and growth journey.
- Feed ground-level insights back to the product team – not feature requests, but clear evidence of where firms are getting stuck and where there’s untapped opportunity.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in account management, client success, or consulting – ideally in legal tech, SaaS, or another professional services environment where you’ve worked closely with small-to-mid-size businesses.
- A genuine understanding of how law firms operate – how they bill, how they staff matters, how revenue flows, and what makes behavioural change hard.
- Comfortable being client-facing with senior people – you’ve held your own in rooms with partners and firm principals and know how to have direct commercial conversations.
- Willing and able to travel interstate at short notice – this role involves regular travel to run workshops and visit firms across Australia.
- Sharp instincts for when something’s wrong and the urgency to act on it – if a firm’s usage drops, you pick up the phone that day.
- Able to translate client frustration into clear, actionable feedback for a technical team – not technical yourself, but a clear communicator across the product/client divide.
You are the type of person who
- You notice when something is off before anyone tells you – a dip in usage is a call to action, not a report item.
- You get energised by working things out in real time – this role is still being defined, and you see that as an opportunity, not a risk.
- You build trust quickly with people who are set in their ways – change management is the core challenge here, and you’ve actually moved people before.
- You’re as comfortable on the road as you are in the office – some weeks you’re in Melbourne, some in Perth, and that suits you just fine.
CORTO is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential. If you meet some, but not all the requirements above, we encourage you to still submit your application.
